| My goal was to be able to monitor my heating oil tank remotely, without the need to physically check the oil level in the basement. Additionally, I aimed to avoid running out of oil in the middle of the night, particularly in colder weather. With this new system, I can track my heating oil usage at the frequency of my choosing, whether it be hourly or quarter-hourly. This provides me with precise information on how much oil is consumed each day, which allows me to adjust my thermostat and conserve fuel accordingly. | |
